Weekend Gap Trading

This rule only applies to Instant Funding Accounts:

Eleonex allows traders to hold positions over the weekend on account types where weekend holding is permitted.

However, opening trades primarily to exploit the price gap that occurs when the market reopens is not considered a legitimate trading strategy.

Trades opened during the final three (3) market hours on Friday and closed within the first three (3) market hours on Monday may be reviewed to determine whether they were placed primarily to capitalize on the weekend gap rather than genuine market analysis.

If Eleonex determines that the primary purpose of the trades was to exploit the weekend gap, any profits generated from those trades may be removed from the account or excluded from payout calculations.

This review does not automatically constitute a rule violation or result in account termination. However, repeated or intentional attempts to exploit weekend market gaps may be treated as a prohibited trading practice and handled in accordance with the Eleonex Terms & Conditions.

We encourage traders to follow consistent, risk-managed strategies based on genuine market opportunities rather than attempting to exploit weekend price gaps.
